Being a detail-oriented graphic designer, I take lots of close-up photos of textures, colors and patterns found in nature, which I assumed would be of little interest to others. Then one day while playing around in Photoshop, I developed a process that turned these personal delights into something that I knew other folks would enjoy as well. Thanks for looking! I grew up near Chicago, Illinois, and earned a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois-Urbana. During my career as a print production artist, I spent time in the San Francisco Bay Area, Washington state, central Arizona, and I am now retired in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
